How to apply for a visa

To be granted a visa, the applicant must send to the Consular Section of the Embassy:


	a valid passport;
	a visa application form filled in and signed by the applicant
	two color photos (3.5/4.5 cm) of the applicant;
	proof of a health insurance policy in place, for the whole period to stay in Romania;
	proof of finances covering his stay in Romania (half of the minimum personal subsistence per person per day - 50 Euro); some other proof of available funds to cover the costs incurred by the stay may also be brought (for example a voucher or an invitation by a Romanian individual/corporation);
	other documents confirming information written in the visa application form, particularly the declared purpose of stay;
	proof of covering the costs incurred by leaving Romanian territory, for example: - an international rail, road, sea or air travel ticket or - finances (in Romanian lei or in freely convertible currency) to cover the cost of departure from Romania to a country the foreigner is allowed to enter.
